The Omani transport firm Mwasalat has resumed its bus service between Muscat and Dubai following Thursday’s accident, which killed 17 passengers.
In a statement on Twitter, the company said it has restarted operations on the route in agreement with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
It added that an independent investigation team has been set up to determine the cause of the accident.
The bus, carrying 31 people, crashed onto a height barrier along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road at the exit to Rashidiya metro station.
