Sixty percent of the new highway between Abu Dhabi and Dubai is completed. It’s hoped the 62km road from Seih Shuaib to the Sweihan Interchange will relieve traffic pressure on the E11.The AED 2.1 billion project includes six underground sections, and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Dubai agrees partnership to develop underground transport network
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit on Tuesday, signed a partnership with the US-based The Boring Company to begin work on a new underground passenger transport system known as the Dubai Loop.
