Following earlier emergency alerts to UAE residents, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has issued a statement reassuring the public.
NCEMA says these alerts are part of the early warning system, designed to enhance preparedness and support preventive measures.
While such alerts may cause concern, authorities urge the public to stay calm and follow official instructions.
In the messages that were sent, residents were advised to take shelter in the nearest secure building, avoiding windows, doors and open areas, and awaiting further instructions.
We recognize that alerts of this nature may cause concern. We encourage the public to stay calm and cooperate with the instructions issued by the relevant authorities. The safety and well-being of the community is our highest priority. pic.twitter.com/4mZwgKjQdA
