His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has hailed the country’s performance in government digital services, following the release of a new Boston Consulting Group (BCG) survey.
The study ranks the UAE first globally for customer satisfaction with government digital services, with 89 per cent of respondents rating them highly.
More than 75 per cent said their latest online UAE government transaction delivered a better experience than their typical private-sector interaction — a result that stands in contrast to the global trend.
The survey, conducted across 44 countries, also highlights the depth of the UAE’s digital engagement, with the country ranking first globally in government digital service usage at 53 per cent.
Sheikh Mohammed praised the teams behind the UAE’s digital transformation, saying the country remains focused on making people’s lives easier and delivering world-class services to citizens, residents and visitors.
He also signalled that further changes are on the way.
The UAE Government is set to unveil what Sheikh Mohammed described as its biggest transformation yet in how government services are designed and delivered, with the announcement expected in November.
