H.H. Sheikh Mohamed highlights UAE-Germany ties at Bundestag

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has visited the German Bundestag, the federal parliament, in Berlin, as part of his state visit to Germany.

At the historic Reichstag building, Sheikh Mohamed was welcomed by Julia Klöckner, President of the German Bundestag, along with several members of parliament.

The meeting highlighted the strong and longstanding ties between the UAE and Germany, with discussions focusing on bilateral relations, parliamentary cooperation and issues of mutual interest.

Sheikh Mohamed stressed the shared values between the two countries, including a commitment to peaceful coexistence, dialogue and cultural and intellectual exchange.

He also highlighted the important role of parliaments in strengthening cooperation and supporting peace, stability and development.

During the visit, Sheikh Mohamed thanked the Bundestag President for the warm welcome and signed the visitors’ book, expressing the UAE’s interest in further strengthening parliamentary ties between the two countries.

He was accompanied by members of the UAE delegation, including Saqr Ghobash, Federal National Council Speaker, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, along with other senior officials.
