The UAE's aviation regulator clarified that Sunday's glider crash that took place in Margham-Dubai had nothing to do with the Skydive Club or its facilities.
The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said that the incident did not occur within the premises of the Club.
It added that investigations are still underway to identify the cause of the crash.
The authority also extended its condolences to the family of the pilot who died in the incident.
