The GCC Railway project connecting six countries may not be done by 2018 after all. This news comes after officials at the Meed Mena Rail and Metro Summit announced a meeting on October 15, where they will discuss whether or not the project needs to be postponed. Ed James, director of content and analysis at Meed Projects tells ARN News why this project probably won’t be done by the anticipated date. James adds there may be issues in terms of costs and logistics with freight and passenger usage.
