Etihad Airways and flydubai have announced cancellations of flights to Saudi Arabia's capital city of Riyadh for two days after Houthi missile attacks targetted King Khalid International Airport.
In a statement sent to ARN News, the UAE national carrier said six flights are affected on Friday, and two on Saturday, "due to operational disruption at Riyadh airport".
The airline added that "the situation remains dynamic and further changes are possible", urging travellers "to check the latest status of their flight at etihad.com".

Meanwhile, flydubai confirmed, in a statement, that "flights to Riyadh and Yanbu have been cancelled up to and including October 10, while flights to Abha have been cancelled up to and including October 11".
The airline said it is "monitoring the situation closely" and will update travellers through its official channels.
