Authorities in Dubai are getting tough on outlets flouting the ban on serving shisha.
As many as nine cafés have been shut down in the emirate for not complying with the rule, which was introduced last week as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.
The Department of Economic Development is carrying out inspections in cooperation with Dubai Municipality.
Residents can also report any violations by calling 600 54 55 55 or through the Dubai Consumer application.
