A number plate has sold in Dubai for AED 7.3 million at an auction held by the RTA. In total, over AED 65 million was spent at the 115th Premium Vehicle Number Plates Open Auction, marking a 28 per cent increase on the previous event.
Vehicle number AA16 was the highest-seller, followed by the six million dirham sale of plate number AA69.
The 115th Premium Vehicle Number Plates Open Auction, held by Dubai’s #RTA raised AED 65.588 million, marking a significant 28% increase compared to the previous auction (AED 51.216 million).

The RTA offered 90 plates for bidding at the auction, held at the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City, featuring two, three, four and five digits across various categories, including: AA-I-J-L-M-N-O-P-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z.
