Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, has met with key partners to review preparations for the 27th General Conference of the International Council of Museums — ICOM Dubai 2025.
The global event will be held from November 11-17, and is expected to welcome more than 4,500 museum professionals and cultural leaders.
During the meeting, Sheikha Latifa praised the collaborative efforts of government and private sector entities and highlighted the conference as a major milestone in Dubai’s cultural journey.
She also emphasized Dubai’s growing role as a global hub for cultural dialogue and innovation.
The conference, themed "The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities", will explore how museums can evolve as spaces for learning, innovation and connection.
