Du and Etisalat services will now be available to all consumers across the UAE, the country’s telecom watchdog has announced. Previously, residents had to choose only one telecom firm for their landline and internet needs. The director of technology development affairs at the UAE’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, Saif bin Ghalaita, tells ARN News that the move could lead to more affordable packages for consumers.
