The UAE has confirmed 1,798 new cases of COVID-19 from 256,181 tests.
Another 1,492 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 473,398.
Meanwhile, four more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,541.
A total of 489,495 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 14,556 are currently active.
