The UAE has confirmed 1,578 new cases of COVID-19 from an additional 114,483 tests.
Another 1,550 people have recovered, pushing the overall recovery tally to 113,364.
Meanwhile, two more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 474.
A total of 120,710 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 6,872 are currently active.
Rainy weather to continue nationwide until Friday night
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) says the UAE will remain under the influence of a rainy weather system until Friday night, driven by a main weather front over the far western regions, where scattered heavy rainfall has already been recorded.
