Burj Khalifa lit up in blue on Sunday to mark International Angelman Day and raise awareness of the syndrome.
Angelman Syndrome is a rare neurological disorder that affects one chromosome, resulting in intellectual and developmental delay.
The request to raise the awareness was made by a Dubai based mum, Emily Ray, whose son was diagnosed with the syndrome at birth.
