Specialists from the UAE have helped reopen a hospital in Yemen’s port city of Aden. Al Jumhuriyah Hospital was shut down in April, following the invasion of the city by Al Houthi militia. Operations have now resumed at the facility, whose contents had been damaged by the rebel group. Officials have welcomed the UAE’s ongoing assistance in helping restore vital facilities in Aden governorate.
