More than 85 million passengers used various means of public transport in Abu Dhabi during the first half of 2023.
That's a 23 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2022.
According to the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), the number of public bus users exceeded 39 million, while taxis accounted for 43.7 million passengers and 2.4 million used shared mobility means.
