Abu Dhabi is taking further steps to give residents access to medical diagnostic services from the comfort of their homes.

A new digital platform has been launched in the emirate so that people can avoid visits to clinics and hospitals for non-emergency cases.

The ‘Remote Healthcare’ App supports the elderly, people with chronic diseases as well as those under isolation due to COVID-19.

Patients can use the A.I.-driven platform for booking remote consultations with doctors and managing appointments.

It can also handle request for prescriptions and medicine delivery online.

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has launched the app in collaboration with Injazat Data Systems.
