UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reviewed progress in UAE-Russia cooperation with President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin, before concluding his official visit to Moscow on Thursday. 

The UAE's National Space Academy has launched a programme to train the next generation of Emiratis through hands-on space mission systems experience, as the country aims to accelerate the development of its space capabilities. 

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said the UAE aims to double trade with Russia and the wider Eurasian region in the next five years, as he met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Thursday.

The UAE-based Union Association for Human Rights (UAHR) on Thursday expressed its "deep regret and dismay" regarding the statement issued by what it referred to as the "so-called 'Port Sudan Authority'" which contained "baseless allegations and unfounded claims against the United Arab Emirates."

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday arrived in Moscow for an official visit to Russia. 

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, discussed key national priorities with His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, in Dubai.
