UAE air defences intercepted six ballistic missiles and 21 drones on Monday, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has said.
The UAE has intercepted 304 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,627 drones.
Iranian attacks have resulted in the deaths of two members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, and the deaths of five civilians of Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, and Palestinian nationalities.
Additionally, 145 people have sustained injuries ranging from minor to severe, including Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, and Swedish nationals.
The MoD reaffirmed its readiness to address any threats and confront any attempts to destabilise the security of the state, to ensure the preservation of its sovereignty, security, and stability, and protect its national interests and resources.
