2,581 new COVID-19 cases in UAE

The UAE has confirmed 2,581 new cases of COVID-19 from 397,766 tests in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), another 796 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 748,511.

One patient has died, taking the total number of fatalities to 2,170.

A total of 772,189 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 21,508 are currently active.
