The UAE's 10 million meals campaign has collaborated with the world's tallest tower to take the campaign to the next level.
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, in collaboration with Burj Khalifa, have launched #Worldstallestdonationbox.
The aim is to provide 1.2 million meals by illuminating a staggering 1.2 million lights on the façade of BurjKhalifa, in a dazzling display of social solidarity and cohesion.
The initiative enables institutions, companies and the public to provide vital food aid to those directly or indirectly affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Every one light purchased for AED 10 will provide one meal to someone who needs it most, with the ultimate goal being to provide at least 1.2 million meals.
Each donation will light up one of Burj Khalifa’s 1.2 million lights, which will be tracked in real-time through the campaign’s website.
