Zimbabwe beat UAE in first ODI

Zimbabwe have thrashed the UAE in the opening One Day International (ODI) at Harare.

The hosts won by seven wickets after bowling out the UAE for just 110.

Tendai Chatara starred with the ball for Zimbabwe, taking three wickets for 25 runs while Craig Ervine hit an unbeaten half-century. 

It's the UAE's first-ever ODI tour of a Full Member nation. 

The second match of the best of four series will be played on Friday.
