West Indies batsmen Carlos Brathwaite(R)and Denesh Ramdin(C)celebrate after winning the World T20 cricket tournament match against South Africa at The Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on March 25, 2016

The West Indies have advanced to the semi-finals of the World Twenty20, while Pakistan have crashed out. The Caribbean side managed to maintain their unbeaten run in Group 1, with a three wicket-win over South Africa. Chasing a 123-run target, they won the game in Nagpur with two balls to spare. Elsewhere, Australia successfully defended a score of 193-4 against Pakistan in a decisive Group 2 match in Mohali. Skipper Steve Smith struck an unbeaten 61 and then James Faulkner's 5-27 with the ball did the damage, as the Aussies won by 21 runs. Australia will face hosts India next, with the winner progressing to the semi-finals at the expense of the other.
