World T20: West Indies ease to win against Sri Lanka

The West Indies made it two-wins-out-of-two at the World Twenty20, with an easy victory over Sri Lanka. The Indies beat the reigning champions by seven wickets in Bangalore. Bowling first, Darren Sammy’s men restricted Sri Lanka to 122-9, with only Thisara Perera, who scored 40 off 29 balls, offering any resistance. In response, the Indies eased to their target with 12 balls remaining, with Andre Fletcher, who opened the batting in place of the injured Chris Gayle, hitting an unbeaten 84 off 64 balls.
