Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been named captain of the Wisden Test cricket team of the decade.
Off-spinner R. Ashwin is the only other Indian on the prestigious list, which also includes England’s Alastair Cook, Ben Stokes and James Anderson.
Steve Smith and David Warner are the two Australian players in the 11-member team, while Kumar Sangakkara is the sole representative from Sri Lanka.
South Africans AB de Villiers, Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada complete the lineup.
Kohli, Warner, de Villiers and Steyn also feature in Wisden’s ODI team of the decade, which features Rohit Sharma and former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni as well.
Jos Buttler (England), Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka), Mitchell Starc (Australia), Trent Boult (New Zealand) and Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh) are the other players to make the cut.
