Shakib Al Hasan banned for 2 years

Shakib Al Hasan has been given a two-year ban from for "failing to report corrupt approaches".

The Bangladesh Test captain has pleased guilty to the three charges.

They're related to requests for "inside information for betting purposes.

According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), Shakib was approached by during a tri-series with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in 2018.

He was also offered money to match or spot fix during the Indian Premier League (IPL0 that year.
