Saudi Arabia booked their place in the Arabian Gulf Cup final after defeating Qatar 3-2 on penalties following a goalless draw after extra time in Saturday's first semi-final at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Jeddah.
Neither side was able to find a breakthrough across 120 minutes, sending the contest to a penalty shootout to determine the first finalist.
From the spot, Saudi Arabia held their nerve, with Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Mohamed Kanno and Mukhtar Ali converting their penalties.
Hassan Tambakti and Firas Al-Buraikan missed, but it was still enough to secure a 3-2 victory.
Qatar found the net through Edmilson and Al-Jarahi, while Almoez Ali, Jassem Jaber and Khoukhi Boualem all failed to convert their spot kicks.
Saudi Arabia will now face the winner of the UAE-Oman semi-final in the title decider on Tuesday.
