Ryder Cup captain and Indian icon to clash in Dubai

European Ryder Cup captain Darren Clarke and Indian golf icon Jeev Milkha Singh will compete in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic at Emirates Golf Club from February 4-7. The duo will renew their rivalry after captaining the European and Asian teams at the EurAsia Cup being held from January 15-17 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Both men are huge crowd favourites in Dubai and enjoy long-time affinity with the tournament. Clarke, the 2011 Open champion, will be making his 21st appearance in the event and is also Patron of the MENA Golf Tour, while Singh, a golf in DUBAi ambassador, is making his 20th start in the longest-running European Tour event in the region.
