England have thrashed the West Indies to move up to second spot in the World Cup points table.

Bowling first, the hosts bowled out the Windies for just 213 with fast bowlers Jofra Archer and Mark Wood taking three wickets each.

England then cruised to victory as skipper Joe Root smashed an unbeaten century to lead his side to an eight wicket win with more than a 100 balls to spare.

They now have six points from their four matches while the West Indies are sixth in the table with just three points.
