American golfer Patrick Reed has claimed victory at the 2026 Hero Dubai Desert Classic, the opening Rolex Series event on the DP World Tour, finishing 14 under par to win by four strokes.

Reed, 35, completed his four rounds with a total score of 274 at Emirates Golf Club, comfortably ahead of England’s Andy Sullivan, who finished runner-up.

The former Masters champion played solid golf throughout the week with his win further enhancing his strong record at the prestigious tournament, which has been held in Dubai since 1989.

Reed’s performance was the highlight of a high-quality field that included standout names from both the DP World Tour and rival LIV Golf circuit, among them Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and David Puig.

The Hero Dubai Desert Classic, one of the most prominent golf events in the Middle East, is seen as a key early-season test for players ahead of the rest of the professional golf calendar.

Reed’s victory marks his latest success on the international stage and adds a significant title to his career achievements, which include major championship honours and multiple world golf wins.
