NBA: Warriors overcome Hawks without Curry

The Golden State Warriors have secured another overtime win, beating the Atlanta Hawks 109-105. The reigning NBA champions did it without the league’s MVP, Steph Curry, who was missing with an ankle injury. Klay Thompson hit 26 points, while Draymond Green had 13 rebounds and 8 assists. The Warriors moved to 54-5, as they chase the ’95 Chicago Bulls regular-season record of 72-10. Elsewhere, the LA Lakers overcame the Brooklyn Nets 107-101, the Dallas Mavericks secured a 121-108 victory over the Orlando Magic, and the New York Knicks went down 104-85 to the Portland Trail Blazers.
