His teammate Lewis Hamilton was second, but the world champion was unhappy after being told to pit for a second time, due to concerns over tyre wear with both Mercedes. Valtteri Bottas of Williams was third, whilst a poor race for Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel came to an end after a crash on lap 51.
