Fleetwood and Bradley lead the way at Sawgrass

Tommy Fleetwood and Keegan Bradley share the overnight lead in the Players Championship, while Rory McIlroy is also in contention.

The pair finished the opening round on seven-under par at Sawgrass, one shot ahead of Byeong-hun An and Brian Harman.

Fleetwood, the 2017 Race to Dubai champion, made six birdies in the last nine hole, while Bradley made six birdies, an eagle and a bogey for his round.

Four-time major winner Rory McIlroy made a bogey-free 67 to end the day two shots off the lead alongside Vaughn Taylor and Ryan Moore.
