David Beckham says he agrees with Alex Ferguson's view that he wasn't a "world-class" player. In a new book, the former Manchester United boss, who managed Beckham for 11 years at Old Trafford, giving the midfielder his debut in 1995, claims that he only managed four players deserving of that description at United. Those four were Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Eric Cantona. But with the likes of Peter Schmeichel, Roy Keane, Bryan Robson and Wayne Rooney also not on the list, it's fair to say Beckham is in good company.
