The hosts registered a 169-run victory in the opening encounter at Sylhet.
They posted a total of 321-6, thanks to a century from opener Liton Das (126) and Mohammad Mithun's 50.
In reply, Zimbabwe were dismissed for 152 in 39.1 overs.
It was Bangladesh’s biggest win in terms of runs.
