Australia survive Fiji scare at Rugby World Cup

The Wallabies have survived a huge scare in their Rugby World Cup opener as they came from behind to beat Fiji.

Tries from Silatolu Latu, Kerevi and Koroibete gave Australia a 39-21 win in the first match in Pool D.

On Friday hosts Japan beat Russia to get their campaign off to the perfect start.

Kotaro Matsushima scored a hat-trick as the hosts won 30-10.
