US senators join calls for Boeing 737 Max fleet to be grounded

US lawmakers are urging the Federal Aviation Administration to ground the Boeing Max 8 jetliner.

The bipartisan calls come as the European Union joins several other countries in suspending the use of the aircraft which was involved in two deadly air crashes, just months apart.
