Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin spoke over the phone on Wednesday.
According to the White House, the US President and his Russian counterpart discussed the wildfires in Siberia.
Spokesman Hogan Gidley said Trump talked to Putin “and expressed concern over the vast wildfires afflicting Siberia.”
The two leaders also talked about trade between their countries.
