Religious exemptions for vaccines banned in New York

Religious exemptions can no longer be applied when it comes to giving vaccines to children in New York.

Lawmakers in the state have voted to eliminate the exemptions for schools.

It comes as New York one of its worst outbreak of measles.

According to health authorities, more than 1,000 Americans have been diagnosed with measles this year.
