An emergency GCC-EU ministerial meeting is set for Thursday, March 5, bringing together foreign ministers from GCC states and the European Union.
Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, will also join via video conference.
Saudi Press Agency reports that GCC Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi said the virtual meeting will address the impact of Iranian aggression against GCC states, condemning attacks on civilians, infrastructure and diplomatic sites.
The council aims to call on the international community to act to end the conflict and strengthen regional and global stability.
