Magnitude 4.1 quake hits Oman

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 struck close to the port of Duqm, in Oman, on Sunday morning.

According to The Seismological Centre at Sultan Qaboos University the earthquake struck at 7.55 am, local time.

Taking to social media, the Royal Oman Police said they'd followed up on calls they had received from the public who claimed they had felt slight tremors.

There's been no reports of any injuries or damage.
