Kuwait closes airspace due to Iranian attacks

Kuwait's civil aviation authority has announced the temporary closure of its airspace early on Thursday following Iranian strikes on the country.

The closure began at 4:50 am, with flights diverted to alternative airports following the necessary procedures. 

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation stated that the closure was held as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of air navigation and passengers.

It also confirmed that it is continuously monitoring developments with the relevant teams, and will reopen the airspace upon confirmation that the situation has ended.
