Around 400 people were evacuated after a blaze broke out in a five-star hotel in Paris on Wednesday, firefighters said.
Two members of staff were slightly injured as they tried to put out the fire which started at around 1020 GMT in the basement kitchen of the Bristol, a hotel often used by visiting world leaders close to the Elysee Palace.
Police closed Faubourg Saint‑Honore street and the fire was brought under control, the capital's fire service said.
