 
                                    A 6.3 magnitude earthquake has struck the British Columbia area of Canada.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, it happened 177 km west of Port Hardy, which is on Vancouver Island.
There are no immediate reports of injuries or damage from the quake, which was around one to five kilometres deep.
