Sweden has dismissed Donald Trump's demand to intervene in rapper A$AP Rocky's assault case.
On Friday the US President Tweeted that Swedish prime minister Stefan Lofven should get involved in the case.
Trump called for the release of the American musician, who has been charged with assault over his alleged involvement in a street brawl.
However a spokesperson for the Swedish government said, "in Sweden everyone is equal before the law and that the government cannot interfere in legal proceedings."
The rapper's real name is Rakim Myers.
