'Stranger Things" gets Kate Bush's 1985 'Running Up That Hill' to number one on iTunes.

The hit show on Netflix has introduced a new generation to the hit song Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush, which initially reached No 3 in the UK in 1985.

The long-awaited first chapter of season four dropped on Netflix last week featuring the track on the opening scene.

Running Up That Hill continues to be ever-present throughout Chapter One of the si-fi fiction series which is set in the 80s.

Stranger Things – a sci-fi horror set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana is hugely popular with 12 to 25-year-olds, and is introducing a younger audience to fashion and music from the era.

The lead single off Kate Bush's album, Hounds of Love, has soared to number one on the iTunes chart and in the most played songs on Spotify this week.
