The 40th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair has officially opened today.
The 11-day event, which is taking place at the Expo Centre in Sharjah, was inaugurated by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
This year's theme is 'There’s always a right book', and will see 1,632 Arab and foreign publishing houses in addition to international authors, poets, and artists.
