Lamar Odom in hospital after being found unconscious

Former basketball star Lamar Odom is in hospital after he was found unconscious at a brothel, police officials said. The ex-husband of reality TV star Khloe Kardashian was found unresponsive at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada, around 70 miles from Las Vegas. Odom, 35, was stabilised at the scene and taken to hospital by ambulance, a sheriff's statement said. Initial plans to airlift the 6'10 star were scrapped as his "stature" did not allow him to be taken by helicopter. The sheriff statement said they were investigating the incident.
