Lady Gaga has announced the decision to postpone the release of her forthcoming album 'Chromatica' for now.
The singer explained that she didn't feel right about dropping new songs as the world fights to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
"This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn't feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic," she wrote on Twitter.
Her album, which was set to be dropped on April 10, will now have a new 2020 release date.
